tomeque aus Hamburg veröffentlicht am 27.11.2020 das Musikvideo zu seinem Album-Titelsong “Hallo Welt”: ein verträumt-sphärischer und kühl-dystopischer Schrei in den Orbit. Inspiriert vom Filmsetting zu Tarkowskis “Stalker”, konzertieren im Song Piano und Synthesizer in Dreampop-Manier auf einem hypnotischen Downbeat, als suchten Technik, Natur und menschliche Schöpfung nach Einklang.
Im Video erwacht tomeque orientierungslos in einer unwirklichen Welt, als wäre er mit seinem Raumschiff abgestürzt, und sucht zunächst seine sieben Sachen zusammen. Schwer beladen mit Gedanken, Instrumenten, Diskokugel und einem aufblasbaren Globus durchschreitet er einen mystischen Wald, bis er zum See gelangt. Dort deutet ihm ein geheimnisvoller Fremder zum Horizont, woraufhin er sich seiner Lasten entledigt und sichtbar erleichtert gen Himmel blickt. In Zwischeneinstellungen performt tomeque den Song auf einer Waldlichtung — mit Akustikgitarre und in Silbermontur — während er im Refrain alienhaft und in Begleitung seine Digitalbrille sprechen lässt. …

tomeque releases his new single “Drei letzte Sekunden”. After the previous single “Immer nur tanzen”, he is taking it much more calmly this time and lets his acoustic guitar and a cello take the lead.
“Drei letzte Sekunden” (=Three last remaining seconds) is a soulful singer-songwriter ballad with lots of emotion and weltschmerz. It’s about being abandoned by fellows, friends and lovers. …
tomeque’s third single “England, mach’s gut… (Have a good one, UK…)” is a melancholic rock ballad in British songwriting manner. The song is concerned with the UK resigning from the European idea — from the perspective of the forsaken with much wistfulness and weltschmerz.
